Ma démarche artistique Depuis quelques années, j’ai décidé de m’affranchir du figuratif pour aller vers l’exploration de la couleur et de la forme en toute liberté. J’utilise les couteaux pour plus de spontanéité et d’aisance dans le mouvement et aussi les pinceaux et autres instruments utiles. J’emploie l’huile, l’acrylique et l’encre, parfois j’ajoute des pierres semi-précieuses dans mes tableaux sans doute influencé par mon héritage de bijoutier. J’intègre aussi différentes matières : sable, métaux, algues, bois… Et il peut y avoir parfois une pointe d’humour! La conscience environnementale n’est jamais aussi très loin. Bref, ma démarche artistique est fondée sur le concept de liberté : je me sens libre de toute chapelle et de toutes préoccupations commerciales. Seul devant mon tableau, je peins en suivant mon imaginaire, mon intuition, ma fantaisie, ma spontanéité; toujours en exploration, toujours en mouvement. Mon inconscient me guide, mes émotions m’animent. Souvent, j’avance en aveugle, surpris des résultats, je reviens en arrière. J’ajoute, je soustrais ou encore je superpose. Il y a d’abord la couleur puis le geste et petit à petit apparaissent les formes colorées et le tableau suit son petit bonhomme de chemin jusqu’au moment où s’installe mystérieusement une sensation d’harmonie qui me suggère que rien ne peut être ajouté ou soustrait. Il ne reste que le vernissage et le tableau est prêt pour son voyage vers les humains. EXPOSITION JANVIER 2019. H1p1e9My artistic approach For a few years, I decided to free myself from the figurative to go towards the exploration of color and shape in complete freedom. I use knives for more spontaneity and ease of movement and also brushes and other useful instruments. I use oil, acrylic and ink, sometimes I add semi-precious stones in my paintings, no doubt influenced by my heritage as a jeweler. I also integrate different materials: sand, metals, seaweed, wood... And there can sometimes be a touch of humor! Environmental awareness is never so far away. In short, my artistic approach is based on the concept of freedom: I feel free from any chapel and from any commercial concerns. Alone in front of my painting, I paint following my imagination, my intuition, my fantasy, my spontaneity; always exploring, always on the move. My subconscious guides me, my emotions animate me. Often, I move forward blind, surprised at the results, I go back. I add, I subtract or I superimpose. First there is the color then the gesture and little by little the colored shapes appear and the painting follows its merry way until the moment when a sensation of harmony mysteriously sets in which suggests to me that nothing can be added or subtracted.
